Are you developing solutions to help Australia’s waste and recycling capability?

CRC-P round 10 applications are now open for projects that can help solve Australia’s waste challenge. Applications close 5:00pm AES T 1 October 2020

Cooperative Research Centres Projects (CRC-P) Grants provide funding for short-term research collaborations. Round 10 has $10 million in funding to support CRC-Ps with focus on addressing gaps in Australia’s waste and recycling capability, particularly in regards to plastics, paper, glass and tyres

Matched funding of between $100,000 and $3 million. Grants are for up to 3 years.

The CRC-P grant is available to an industry-led research collaboration with at least:

  • 2 Australian industry organisations, including at least 1 small to medium-sized enterprise
  • 1 Australian research organisation

Projects must:

  • develop a product, service or process that will solve problems for industry and deliver real outcomes
  • benefit small to medium enterprises (SMEs)
  • include education and training activities

You can use the funding to cover costs directly related to your project including:

  • new research
  • proof of concept activities
  • pre-commercialisation of research outcomes
  • industry-focused education and training activities
  • conferences, workshops, symposia related to the joint research
  • information sharing and communications related to the research
